For Professionals

Practical support that complements your work

Are you an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist, Support Coordinator or other professional supporting someone who is overwhelmed by their home environment?

I provide compassionate, non-judgemental, hands-on decluttering, sorting and organising support that can complement the professional support you are already providing.

When my support may help

A referral may be helpful for someone who:

  • feels overwhelmed by their belongings or home environment

  • doesn't know where to begin

  • needs practical, hands-on support to make changes

  • would like to create a more functional and manageable home

  • needs support developing organising systems

  • is working towards greater independence with everyday tasks

Complex & High-Volume Situations

I also support people whose homes have a significant accumulation of possessions or complex clutter, up to Level 3. These situations may require additional time, patience and ongoing hands-on support.

Because every home and situation is different, the level of support required is best understood during the first paid working session. Clients are not required to provide photographs of their home before a visit.

My service is limited to situations up to Level 3. I do not provide decluttering services for Level 4 or Level 5 situations.

My approach is compassionate and judgement-free, with the client remaining in control of decisions regarding their possessions.

Situations Outside My Scope

I do not provide specialist hoarding intervention, clinical treatment or services requiring a level of intervention beyond my professional scope.

Where a person's circumstances appear to be beyond the level I can safely and appropriately support, I will communicate this respectfully and recommend that the referring professional consider an appropriately qualified specialist service.

My Approach

Mental Health First Aid

I’m proud to be an Accredited Standard Mental Health First Aider. This training complements my compassionate, non-judgemental approach to decluttering and home organising. It supports me to listen without judgement, recognise when someone may be struggling, and encourage them to access appropriate professional support when needed.

I understand that every person's circumstances are different, and I aim to provide practical support with patience, empathy and respect.

Working alongside Professionals

Where appropriate and with the client's consent, I can work alongside the person's existing support network and professional team.

My role is to provide practical, hands-on decluttering, sorting and organising assistance. I respect the role, expertise and clinical responsibilities of the professionals involved.

Clear communication between the client, referring professional and support team can help ensure that the practical decluttering work complements the person's broader goals and support plan.

Referral, Invoicing & Payment

I welcome referrals from Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Support Coordinators, Aged Care providers and other professionals supporting people who may benefit from practical decluttering and home organising support.

Session rates:

  • Standard sessions: $75 per hour, minimum 2 hours, plus applicable travel costs.

  • Complex decluttering (up to Level 3): $90 per hour, minimum 3 hours, plus applicable travel costs.

The first session is a paid working visit and helps establish the person's needs, priorities and the level of ongoing support required.

Invoicing and payment

Where services are arranged and paid for by a provider, organisation or other business, invoices are payable within 7 calendar days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The 7-day payment term applies to the organisation, provider or other party responsible for payment. It does not alter any funding, claiming or approval requirements that may apply to the participant or their individual funding arrangement.

Where applicable, invoicing arrangements and payment responsibility will be confirmed before services commence.

Considering a referral?

If you have someone you think may benefit from decluttering and organising support, I'd be happy to have an initial conversation and talk about how I may be able to help.
